CJ Kortes is the CEO and Partner of The SEO Contractor, a digital marketing company founded in 2011 with his brother John Kortes. Like most small to medium-sized business owners, CJ started as a trade professional turned businessman. Learning through experience, The SEO Contractor was started during a recession with $1,200 and the love of making websites. 12 years later, their company has a solid monthly book of recurring business, zero debt, growing profit margins, and cash flow. CJ believes in the “Think Big, Act Small” concept by author Jason Jennings. He also loves playing guitar, writing music and screenplays, and has published a children’s book called Moose, Goose, and Finley’s Caboose: Savannah Treasure.
